Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a difference between the Affiliate Program and the Certified Partner Programme?
Yes. The Affiliate Program is self-serve — any user can generate a referral link and earn commissions with no approval required. The Certified Partner Programme is for businesses and organisations that build on or alongside CipherSense Agents at a deeper level — agencies building client solutions, technology vendors integrating their product, or resellers distributing subscriptions. Partners go through an application and onboarding process.
Can I participate in both the Affiliate Program and the Certified Partner Programme?
Yes. A certified partner can also use the affiliate referral system. However, commissions and revenue share are governed by whichever programme applies to a specific referred account — terms are clarified during the partner onboarding process.
How long does the certification process take?
Typically 1–2 weeks from initial application submission. We review the application, schedule a discovery call, and work through the onboarding checklist together. Complex reseller arrangements may take longer depending on contract negotiations.
Is there a cost to join the Certified Partner Programme?
There is no joining fee. Technology and Agency partners can apply at no cost. Reseller arrangements involve a commercial agreement negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
Do I need to be an existing CipherSense Agents customer?
For Agency and Technology partners, yes — we expect partners to have hands-on platform experience before representing CipherSense Agents to their clients or integrating with our API. A trial or paid account is sufficient to begin the application.
How do I get listed in the partner directory?
Once your partnership is approved and onboarding is complete, your company profile will be added to the CipherSense Agents partner directory at ciphersense.ai/partners. You can provide a logo, description, and supported regions or verticals.
